Bacon Jam

Eat on literally EVERYTHING (burgers, pancakes, sautéed veggies etc)

Ingredients

  • 2 packages of bacon
  • 1 medium onion rough chopped
  • 5 cloves minced garlic 
  • ½ C brown sugar
  • ½ C brewed coffee
  • ½ C whiskey
  • ¼ C maple syrup
  • 1T balsamic vinegar
  • 1T grainy mustard 

Instructions

  1. Chop bacon and sauté in a deep pan. 
  2. Drain and put bacon aside. 
  3. Using the same pan sauté onions and garlic for 4-5 minutes until translucent. 
  4. Add the bacon and all other ingredients to the pan. 
  5. Keep it on medium heat until reduced, and thickened. (About 30-40 min) 
  6. Finish by using an immersion blender until it’s the consistency of jam🙌🏻
