Balsamic and red wine reduction

Description

Serve with cheese, over meat, on pizza, veggies, or as a salad dressing.


Scale

Ingredients

  • 2 C red wine
  • 1 C balsamic vinegar
  • ¾ C sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients and boil on medium-low heat about 1 hour or until reduced by ⅔. It should be the consistency of syrup. 
  2. Let cool and serve with cheese, over meat, on pizza, veggies, or as a salad dressing.
